Chloroprene Rubber (CR).

Chloroprene rubber for oil-, weather-, and ozone-resistant compounding. Sulfur-modified and mercaptan-modified grades for hose, seal, and adhesive manufacturing.

Sulfur-modified · Mercaptan

Overview

CR (commonly known as Neoprene) offers a rare combination of weather, ozone, and oil resistance with good flame self-extinguishing behaviour. Above Infinity supplies the major series grades from European and Japanese producers, consistent chemistry, declared Mooney, ash, and volatiles.

Four CR
series.

Sulfur-modified (G), mercaptan-modified (W), pre-crosslinked (T), and adhesive (AC) chemistries from European and Japanese producers.

G

G-series (sulfur-modified)

High green strength and tack. For adhesives, hoses, and dynamic seals where building grip matters.

W

W-series (mercaptan-modified)

Better processing safety and lower compression set. For molded goods, gaskets, and weather strips.

T

T-series

Pre-crosslinked grades for tight extrusions and reduced die swell.

AC

AC-series

Adhesive-specific chloroprene chemistries for contact cements and bonding applications.

Frequently asked

Common
questions.

Which chloroprene series do you stock?

G-series (sulfur-modified), W-series (mercaptan-modified), T-series (pre-crosslinked), and AC-series (adhesive-specific) from European and Japanese producers.

What does a typical CR COA include?

Mooney viscosity, ash content, volatiles, specific gravity, and production-date / shelf-life information where applicable.

How is chloroprene packaged?

Standard 25 kg bags in cardboard cartons, palletised for sea freight. Bulk options available for high-volume programmes.

What is the lead time?

Four to six weeks for production grades; longer for specialty (T- and AC-) series.
